How is teenaged crime portrayed in the media?
1) What do you think is the overall portrayal of youth crime in the media? Do you think it is shown as a good or a bad thing? Why?

Perhaps people feel you are asking them to write an essay - you are asking for a lot of information. Consider other ways of getting these opinions. For example, you could get some statistics on the number of articles in the Hackney Gazette on youth stabbings and ask people to respond to this. Controversial statements are another good way to get people to respond - make them angry or passionate and you might get a reply.
